We will gather together online to continue our Thursday evening prayers online for the swift return of our precious Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche. (note: we will also say prayers for Arunas Antanaitis, our director who recently passed away at these Thursday sessions) There is a tradition of saying prayers on each seventh day, for seven weeks (49 days) after a Lama ‘demonstrates the truth of impermanence’. Following the advice given for FPMT Centres, we will be holding several of the recommended practices every Thursday evening until May 25th. These sessions will be online only.
We will be holding Lama Chopa and Tsog Offering (Guru Puja) on Saturday, May 20, at 2 pm and on Saturday, May 27th, a puja of Four Mandala Offerings to Chittamani Tara, at 10 am EDT. Everyone is welcome to attend both in-person and online for these pujas, as well as for the one below.
Prayers will continue for Rinpoche until Wednesday, May 31st, when we will hold a larger Lama Chopa and Tsog Offering at the centre as this will be the 49th day.
