EVENING SESSION
Our Saga Dawa celebrations continue as we will create further causes for merit on this holy day of the Tibetan calendar, commemorating Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment and parinirvana.
We will begin the session with the transmission of The Praise of Sarasvatī and “Manjushri’s Guide to the View Instruction”. Then, Geshe la will give a short commentary on the Refuge and Bodhicitta prayer. Geshe la will also make some brief remarks about our spiritual director Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and also explain a little bit about how and why we dedicate recitations to the long life of the teacher. We will conclude the session with 20-30 minutes of group recitation of this prayer for the long life of Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
