IMPORTANT TARA RETREAT UPDATE:
Please note that for our Tara retreat, Geshe Sonam will now be leading the morning sessions on all three days, and the two founders of Lama Yeshe Ling, both long-term students, will lead sessions which include recordings of Paula’s teachings, as well as discussion and questions. Paula regrets having to cancel due to falling ill.
We just want to reassure people that this is a short-term illness and Paula fully expects to recover but needs to take rest. We look forward to inviting her soon to share her knowledge and experience.
Please do still join us for the retreat!
On December 29 & 30 mornings (IST), His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give teachings on Nagarjuna’s Commentary on Bodhicitta (jangchup semdrel). On December 31 morning His Holiness will confer the Blessing of 21 Tara (dolma 21 jenang). The Tara ceremony will take place for us in Canada in the late evening of Friday, December 30th. Those who wish to attend the ceremony can do so online here.
In this very auspicious way, we will begin the New Year by inviting Tara, who embodies the compassionate activity of all Buddhas, to be a part of our lives in 2023.
Please register here to watch online. (this is a very simple and quick registration process by email),
or watch the sessions live-streamed on Facebook.
