When: Third Monday of the month, 7:00 – 8:30 pm ET
The Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga Practice (Ganden Lhagyama), is a practice for us to connect purely and powerfully with all that inspires us: the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, present and future, all of our teachers, and especially, our own potential for becoming fully awakened. By imagining these combine into one exemplar of wisdom and compassion, and then engaging in the meditations of accumulating positive potential and of releasing our burden of confusion, we cause our potential to bud and manifest more clearly. You can learn more about Lama Tsongkhapa here.
This practice gives us a very effective opportunity to deepen our experience of the Stages of the Path to Awakening (Lam Rim). Sessions will include The Praise to Manjushri, along with Manjushri mantra recitation, to deepen our wisdom. We will also be reciting Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s translation of The Three Principle Aspects of the Path, a very inspiring and motivating version.
You may follow along online or download The Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga Practice beforehand.
