Three Principal Aspects of the Path:
The Three Essential Components for Achieving the Benefit of Oneself and Others

Without generating the three principal aspects of the path to enlightenment in your mind, you cannot achieve enlightenment in one life by practicing the tantric path.

All students and the general public are highly encouraged to attend Khensur Rinpoche’s teaching on the Three Principal Aspects of the Path. This text by the great Lama Tsongkhapa explains how renunciation (definite emergence): the wish to be free of cyclic existence, bodhicitta: the wish to achieve enlightenment to free all sentient beings, and correct view: emptiness as the ultimate nature of reality are essential points for every Buddhist practitioner from the very beginning to the end of the path.

This precious teaching is suitable for everyone, and Khensur Rinpoche’s presentation will be based on his own deep personal reflections as well as his experience guiding students in developing renunciation, bodhicitta, and correct view for over fifty years. This is an extraordinary opportunity to develop an important understanding of the path to enlightenment through hearing the instructions of one of the last great lamas partly trained in old Tibet.

This is a recommended preparation for tomorrow’s Vajrayogini empowerment.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES will soon be made available. We will need your help to make these events a success!

About Khensur Rinpoche

Lama Yeshe Ling is honoured to welcome Khensur Rinpoche to our community. The 74th abbot of Sera Jey Monastery, Khensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Delek, was born in 1939 in Kardze, Kham (Eastern Tibet). Known to his students and friends as Gen Umalajugpa, he is one of the few remaining great lamas partly trained in Tibet. You can learn more about Khensur Rinpoche here.

Opportunity to Sponsor the Teachings

Sponsoring the teachings helps to make the teachings available to everyone. In this way, we are able to practice the generosity of giving of the Dharma and thereby create vast amounts of merit.

Remember to make an aspiration/dedication to accomplish your goals for yourself and others before making the offering. With clear intention, we can create causes to accomplish the welfare of both ourselves and all sentient beings, or of any heartfelt cause.

Make an offering for Three Principle Aspects of the Path (Lam Rim) Teaching – Goal is: $1500 – sponsoring offerings for Khensur Rinpoche’s “Three Principal Aspects of the Path” teaching – Lama Yeshe Ling will make offerings to Rinpoche for each teaching, and a large offering at the end of his visit.
