The Prayer for Sukhavati, composed by the illustrious Lama Tzongkhapa and contained in his collected works, is a powerful means to achieve rebirth in Sukhavati, the Western Pure Land of Amitabha. It is also a powerful method to help those who are dying to accumulate the causes to be born in the Pure Realm. Receiving the oral transmission of this prayer establishes a powerful potential within the participants.
Please note: for those in other time zones, Geshe la will also give the transmission of the prayer on the morning of March 18th. Then students can listen to the recorded explanation of the evening session at their convenience.
