When: Saturday, May 14, 10 am – 12 pm EDT
Āryadeva was a great Buddhist monk-philosopher of ancient India, and a student of Nāgārjuna. In 400 Stanzas, he presents profound aspects of Buddhist philosophy using everyday language and poetic metaphors in a series of beautifully written verses. Geshe la will select a few of his favourite verses from this text, covering both the method (love, compassion) and wisdom (the nature of reality) aspects of the path. The verses will be presented from the point of view of meditation and application to daily life, aiming to make this profound text accessible to all.
