How do we find peace when everything around us seems so crazy? Whether we are overwhelmed by troubled relationships, a stressful job, the hectic demands of family life or the uncertain state of global affairs; we can undo destructive habits of reacting to our external world.

Venerable Robina Courtin will share some key aspects of Buddhist "mind-training" practices, which help us transform problems into opportunities and maintain a peaceful inner life in the face of life's challenges.

“Happiness is the mind that is free from junk: clear, blissful, happy and stable.”

Venerable Robina Courtin

Ordained since the late 1970s, Robina Courtin has worked full time since then for Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche's FPMT. Over the years she has served as editorial director of Wisdom Publications, editor of Mandala magazine, executive director of  Liberation Prison Project, and as a touring teacher of Buddhism. Her life and work with prisoners have been featured in the documentary films Chasing Buddha and Key to Freedom.
