Happiness depends on our minds. Buddha taught the way for us have a good life is through understanding our mind. We begin to understand our mind by watching our actions of body, speech and mind. Venerable Robina Courtin will present how this will give us the power to select our responses and ultimately to choose our experiences from within. These meditation tools are called the Three Precious Trainings (ethics, concentration and wisdom) which can provide a profoundly fulfilling life.

Ordained since the late 1970s, Robina Courtin has worked full time since then for Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche's FPMT. Over the years she has served as editorial director of Wisdom Publications, editor of Mandala magazine, executive director of  Liberation Prison Project, and as a touring teacher of Buddhism. Her life and work with prisoners have been featured in the documentary films Chasing Buddha and Key to Freedom.
