Jowo Atisha DipamkaraThe genre of teachings known as the Stages of the Path (Tibetan: Lam-Rim) represents a synthesis of the entire path to enlightenment. Based on Atisha's Lamp of the Path to Enlightenment, they present the essence of all the Buddha's teachings in a clear and concise way, easy to understand and apply in meditation. The beauty of studying the lam-rim is that whenever you hear a teaching anything Buddhist, you know where it fits into the whole path. So, in that way, you can say that everything the Buddha taught is in the lam-rim.

We will use a set of guided meditations composed by Venerable Karin Valham from Kopan Monastery: Lam Rim Outlines

We will also refer to a early text compiled by Lama Zopa Rinpoche many years ago (where there was little yet translated into English): Wish Fulfilling Golden Sun

Another valuable practice text is this one: Guided Meditations on The Stages of the Path

This is an excellent one volume commentary on the Lam Rim: Practicing the Path
