Day of Miracles

We celebrate the Day of Miracles (one of the four Buddhist festivals of the calendar year) this coming weekend. To commemorate this day Lama Yeshe Ling will meet to recite together three short practices, followed by a period of silent meditation.

This coming Sunday, we celebrate the Day of Miracles (one of the four Buddhist festivals of the calendar year). To commemorate this day, Lama Yeshe Ling will meet to recite together the "Shakyamuni Buddha and 16 Arhats with Purification Puja”. The benefits of making offerings and prayers to the Sixteen Arhats are:
1. All the Victorious Ones (Buddhas) are pleased.
2. Anyone who correctly practices it will have no obstacles.
3. One will be able to abide in pure morality.
4. It increases one's scriptural understanding and realization.
5. One will have perfect inner and outer conditions to practice Dharma.
6. One will not be overwhelmed by untimely death and will have a long life.
7. The community of Sangha will be increased.
8. The study and practice of the Tripitaka (Three Baskets) will increase.
And so forth, there are infinite benefits one will enjoy until enlightenment is achieved.”

Also Big News!

Khensur Gyumed Rinpoche Lobsang Jampa has just confirmed that he will visit Lama Yeshe Ling on the weekend of June 10th 2017, to give the Chitamani Tara empowerment (more details to coming soon)!
We will also be doing the brief White Tara long life practice (open to all), to create the causes for all our teachers, such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and particularly for Gyumed Khensur Rinpoche now in his 80th year to remain long with us and for his Dharma activities to flourish. Doing this White Tara long life practice prayer removes obstacles and creates conducive conditions for his visit and teaching here.
If you wish to do these practices at home here are the link: Guru Shakyamuni Buddha and the Sixteen Arhats, with Purification, and here is a link to the White Tara Mantra.
