Lama Yeshe Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre KW is pleased to announce that our newly-arrived resident teacher, Geshe Thubten Soepa will be in Kitchener on May 4. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet Geshe Soepa, a highly accomplished scholar and teacher, in an intimate setting.

Geshe Soepa will give teachings on Lojong -- various points of Mind Training which are an essential aspect of the path and the development of bodhichitta. The Lojong teachings dovetail nicely with the current module of Discovering Buddhism which the study group is working on right now.

After the teachings, there will be a guided Lojong meditation and a discussion of how to integrate the teachings in daily life.

Afterwards, tea and crumpets will be served. (Well, maybe not crumpets, but something.)

The teachings will be held at Sheryl Kennedy's house, 25 Dietz Ave. S., Waterloo. (See Google Map.)
Time: 10:30am to 12:30 approximately.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to me. In this case, it is especially important because, in the event that a large turnout is expected, we may have to change the venue.

Offerings to Geshe Soepa would be greatly appreciated. Offerings to the teacher are an excellent way to accumulate merit and ensure that you will meet with qualified gurus in this and future lives. And as always, offerings to the study group help us continue to present the Discovering Buddhism course.
